Congratulations are in order for María José Marín.

The Arkansas Razorback finished the 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur 14-under par, four shots clear of the nearest challenger, to win one of the most impressive events in the world of golf.

This year marked the fourth start for María José Marín in the ANWA, but this was the first that she entered as National Champion as she won the NCAA Women’s Golf Individual Title last May.

José Marín had opening rounds of 65 and 69 in the AWNA, and she posted a 68 on the famed Augusta National on Saturday while in the penultimate pairing to secure the title.

The Augusta National Women’s Amateur has grown in popularity over the years and is establishing an incredible legacy that José Marín is now a part of.

Congratulations to her, her family, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and everyone involved.

This truly is the most wonderful time of the year in golf.
