Working on a delayed schedule and in an altered format, the golfers of the Ryder Cup suspended play on Saturday due to diminishing light, but not before Europe absolutely dominated the United States in Session 3 play.
The United States still leads, 6 to 4, but that is likely to change once Session 3 play resumes on Sunday, as Europe leads in all six matches. Here are how these matches look at the moment:
Session 3 Foursomes
Europe (Luke Donald/Lee Westood) - four up through nine holes
USA (Steve Stricker/Tiger Woods)
Europe (Graeme McDowell/Rory McIlroy) - three up through seven holes
USA (Zach Johnson/Hunter Mahan)
Session 3 Four-balls
Europe (Padraig Harrington/Ross Fisher) - one up through eight holes)
USA (Jim Furyk/Dustin Johnson)
Europe (Peter Hanson/Miguel Angel Jimenez) - two up through six holes
USA (Bubba Watson/Jeff Overton)
Europe (Eduardo Molinari/Francesco Molinari) - one up through five holes
USA (Stewart Cink/Matt Kuchar)
Europe (Ian Poulter/Martin Kaymer) - two up through four holes
USA (Phil Mickelson/Rickie Fowler)
Session 3 play will resume at 2:45 A.M. Eastern on Sunday. Once again, die-hard American fans determined to see live play will have to decide whether to stay up super-late or wake up super-early.
