Ryder Cup 2010, Session 3 Update: McIlroy Helps Europe Pull Even, Woods Suffers Biggest Loss

In today’s Session 3 of the Ryder Cup, Europe is making its run.

The Europeans just got a win from Graeme McDowell and Rory McIlroy, who defeated Americans Zach Johnson and Hunter Mahan in an alternate shot match, and have tied the Ryder Cup at 6-6.

Europe was also helped by Tiger Woods’ biggest loss in a Ryder Cup. He and Steve Stricker lost 6 and 5 to Lee Westwood and Luke Donald in the session’s other alternate shot match.
