Farmers Insurance Open, Leaderboard Update: Bill Haas On Top At End Of Round 2; Tiger Woods’ Standing Improves

Round 2 is over at Torrey Pines, and at the end of Friday’s action, Bill Haas sits atop the Farmers Insurance Open leaderboard. Haas followed up his 5-under performance in Round 1 with a 6-under showing on Friday.

Playing on Torrey Pines’ South Course, Haas opened the front nine with three consecutive birdies. Starting on the back nine, Haas more than compensated for bogeys on the 11th and 8th holes. Haas is aiming for the third PGA Tour win of his career.

Meanwhile, John Daly, who stands at 8-under for the tournament is on the hunt for his first PGA Tour win in nearly seven years. Here is how the top of the leaderboard looks as the tournament enters Round 3:

2. Anthony Kim (-9)
T3. Fredrik Jacobson (-8)
