Kevin Na Swings And Misses On A Tee Shot

Kevin Na is a professional golfer. He’s the same professional golfer who shot a 16 on a single hole earlier this year, which led many amateurs to nod their head and think, “I can do that.” And on Saturday, Kevin Na -- still a professional golfer -- had another one of those moments. What he did was something one would expect to see on a weekend at their local muni, not at a PGA Tour event.

After the jump, Na has a minor problem with his tee shot: he missed the ball.

This didn’t count as a penalty stroke, with Na playing it off like it was a “check-swing” and saying he had no intention to hit the ball. But does anyone buy it? He was clearly rattled at the time, and it sure looks like he just missed it.

The best part about this all? Na is actually a pretty good golfer. He’s been in contention, had some great rounds and is able to string together solid performances. But then he has one of those moments -- like missing the ball or carding a 16 while hitting himself with the ball -- that gives us all hope.

Kevin Na should be your favorite professional golfer.
