Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic 2011: Luke Donald Tied Atop Leaderboard

It’s a logjam atop the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic as the PGA Tour golfers battle it out in the final event of the year. Card implications and money list rankings are on the line, with the top-two players both involved in this weekend’s tournament. And one of those top players -- Luke Donald -- is tied for the lead, though the field is all bunch up in Florida.

Donald is at 6-under for the tournament, but is joined by six others. There’s little breathing room, either, with seven more players lying in wait, one shot off the lead. After one round, 42 players are three or fewer shots back, with nobody separating themselves as of now.

Webb Simpson, currently No. 2 on the money list, is just two shots back and chasing Donald in the final event of the season.

For more on the tournament, be sure to check out the full leaderboard or head over to SB Nation’s Waggle Room.
