Steve Williams Lashes Out At Tiger Woods Again

“It was my aim to shove it up that black arsehole,” Steve Williams, former caddie to Tiger Woods, reportedly said on Friday while referencing his much-criticized celebration following Adam Scott’s win this summer.

The comment was aimed at Woods, who fired Williams earlier this year as he struggled to regain his form. Since the two parted was -- in less than amicable fashion -- there’s been no love lost, with Williams lashing out at Woods on multiple occasions in the aftermath.

Williams’ outburst was met with shock by at least one caddie in the room. The anonymous caddie called Williams’ a “racist idiot” and expressed his displeasure for Woods’ former caddie’s antics.

The Daily Mail quoted an unnamed caddie who said: “Never have you been in a room and seen so many jaws drop at the same time. We knew he (Williams) was an idiot but we didn’t know he was a racist idiot. I was standing next to a European Tour official who said, “Thank God he is not on our tour.’ ”

The further this one-sided war of words drags on, the worse Williams looks. While he may have been a sympathetic figure after Woods suddenly dropped him, Williams’ antics since haven’t reflected well on him. If his latest comments were as reported, it shines Williams in an even worse light.

And this time, his employer -- Adam Scott -- has every reason to unceremoniously drop him.
