Chevron World Challenge 2011: TV Schedule, Tee Times, Parings For Friday

K.J. Choi made it out of the first round of the Chevron World Challenge alive and well on Thursday, taking a three-shot lead into the clubhouse. Choi carded a 6-under 66 on Thursday to easily take the lead, besting a field that struggled to card low scores. But lurking just behind Choi, at 3-under for the tournament, is Tiger Woods.

Woods started strong but fizzled in his first round, settling for a 69 on the scorecard and a share of second-place. He’ll join Choi in the final pairing on Friday in what should make for an entertaining round. Steve Stricker is also at 3-under for the tournament and will tee-off in the second-to-last group.

Coverage of the second round gets underway at 3 p.m. Eastern, running through 6 p.m. on the Golf Channel. Here’s a look at the Friday tee times and pairings.
