It’s not a Pebble Beach National Pro-Am without Bill Murray showing off for the crowd. As is customary, Murray served as the entertainment on Saturday and nearly had a chance to be playing in the final group. Instead, his professional partner, D.A. Points, bogeyed the 18th hole, leaving him two shots back of Steve Marino. Jimmy Walker and Bryce Molder sit in a tie for second after three rounds at 11-under. Marino and Jimmy Walker will hook up on Sunday in the tournament’s final pairing.
AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Results: Steve Marino Leads, Bill Murray Entertains
Marino shot a one-over 71 on Saturday and sits at 12-under for the tournament. Molder’s four-under 68 on the day put him at 11-under for the tournament, one shot back and tied with Jimmy Walker, who shot a 7-under 63 on Saturday. Phil Mickelson is lurking at seven-under for the tournament, five shots off the pace.
While the professionals have their own tournament at-stake, the pro-am pairings are also involved in a tournament of their own. Marino and Harry You lead that side of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, holding a one-shot advantage over Murray and Points.
