WGC-Cadillac Championship: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson Off The Pace As Weather Delays First Round
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are the biggest draws at the Blue Monster this week, but neither played particularly well on Thursday. Woods is at 1-under through 15 holes, six shots off leader Hunter Mahan’s pace. Mickelson fared marginally better and is at 2-under through 15. The two, who began their rounds after the weather delay, will finish up on Friday morning before teeing-off from the first tee for their second rounds.
Mahan has a two-shot lead over the rest of the field, with a group of seven that includes Luke Donald, Matt Kuchar and Martin Kaymer sitting at 5-under. Lee Westwood is at 4-under, tied with Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and others.
