Players Championship 2011 Leaderboard: Phil Mickelson Starts Second Round Strong

The second round of The Players Championship 2011 is underway at TPC Sawgrass, and the scoring is scarce so far on Friday. No one is lighting up their front 9 yet, but there have been some birdies posted.

Phil Mickelson birdied his third and fourth holes of the morning to put him at 3-under for the tournament following an eventful first round that featured an eagle and a double-bogey. Davis Toms has followed up his 6-under in the first round with two birdies and a bogey in his second round front 9 to move to 7-under, one stroke back of leader Nick Watney.

Speaking of Watney, he is set to tee off at 1:28 p.m. ET, along with Lucas Glover, who is one back at 7-under, and Rory Sabbatini, who is 5-under.
