Tour Championship 2011 Leaderboard: Bill Haas Leads Tournament, Projected FedEx Cup Points Standings

Hunter Mahan and Aaron Baddley started the day in the lead of the 2011 Tour Championship, but Bill Haas appears to be playing himself to a massive payday on Sunday. Through 17 holes, Haas is three-under par on the day and leads the tournament at nine-under. Haas also leads the projected FedEx Cup points, and is well on his way to taking home both the current tournament and the playoff victory.

Barring a major collapse and a big run by someone else, Haas is about to take home a payday well into the seven figures. Jason Day is one shot behind at eight-under through 16, while Mahan is eight-under through 15. Baddley, also through 15 holes, is seven-under par. These players are all well behind Haas in the projected overall points, but it’s close. We could yet have a shake-up at the Tour Championship.
