For the first time since 2002, Tiger Woods will play in the annual AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, he announced Monday, and will partner with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
Tiger Woods Commits To Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Paired With Tony Romo
Tiger Woods will play in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am with Tony Romo, the golfer confirmed on Monday.

“I’m excited to start my PGA Tour season at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am,” Woods said on his website. “AT&T is a great partner to my Foundation, and I’m looking forward to playing in this event. I haven’t been to this tournament lately, but I have a lot of good memories at Pebble. It will be fun going back.”
Romo and Woods played together in the pro-am at the AT&T National in 2009. Romo is a very solid golfer, close to scratch if memory serves, so he should be a more than serviceable partner for Eldrick.
Woods will start his golf season at Abu Dhabi in two weeks as he tries to continue his winning ways; you’ll remember he won his last tournament of 2011 in early December.
