Bubba Watson Buys Original Dukes Of Hazzard Car for $110,000

Bubba Watson, in case you couldn’t gather from the nickname, is a Southern Gentleman. Born and raised in the Florida Panhandle, he even calls himself a “good ol’ boy.“ As a 33-year-old southerner, it probably wouldn’t surprise you to learn he is a big fan of The Dukes Of Hazzard. So much so, in fact, that when the car known as General Lee, immortalized when it jumped a car in the opening credits of the iconic show, Watson laid down more than 100 large in an auction to buy it. You can watch him make the winning bid after the jump

And don’t even begin to think he’s experiencing buyer’s remorse.

I reckon those are some man tears, I do. Giddy up, Bubba.
