The third round of the Frys.com Open is underway from the CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, Calif. The leaders have yet to tee off, but there’s starting to be some movement in the pack.

The third round is underway at the Frys.com Open, and there’s starting to be some movement from the middle of the pack.

Vijay Singh birdied the first hole to jump into the top 10, and is 6-under for the tournament. Gary Woodland is 2-under-par through the first three holes, and has jumped from 30th to 16th. Derek Ernst is tied with Woodland at 6-under, and is 1-under for the day. Rocco Mediate is off to a rough start, and is 1-over through four holes, putting him at 3-under for the tournament. Ernie Els, currently tied for 44th at 3-under, needs to have a huge day today if he wants to have any hope of contending on Sunday.
John Mallinger, paced by a second round 62, still leads at 14-under, and will tee off at 2 p.m. ET.
