McGladrey Classic leaderboard: Bud Cauley on top, Marco Dawson plummets
Bud Cauley and Marco Dawson began second round action at the McGladrey Classic tied for the lead. But after Friday’s play, Cauley is still in the lead and Dawson tied for 29th after 17 holes.

Cauley had just one birdie on the day, at hole No. 7, but later bogeyed on 14. Outside of those situations, every hole was an even shot for the current leader. Dawson didn’t have a very good start to the day, double-bogeying the first hole, then more bogeys on No. 3, 9, 12 and 13. Dawson didn’t do better than par until the 5th hole, after he’d already dug a hole for himself.
When Cauley finished, three other golfers were just one shot behind him - Michael Thompson, Brian Gray, Steven Bowditch. Vijay Singh leads a crowd of five players two shots back.
