Rory McIlroy retained the No. 1 spot in the updated World Golf Rankings. Tiger Woods is No. 2, and Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and Justin Rose round out the top five. Several of the world’s top 10 golfers recently competed in the Turkish Airlines World Golf Final, which was not a sanctioned PGA Tour event. Rose bested both Woods and Westwood to win the match-play tournament.

The next event on the PGA schedule is the Grand Slam of Golf, which features 2012 Masters champion Bubba Watson, 2012 U.S. Open champ Webb Simpson, Padraig Harrington and Keegan Bradley, who won this event in 2011. British Open champion Ernie Els was originally scheduled to play the tournament but had to cancel because of an ankle injury. The PGA Grand Slam of Golf begins on Monday.
