CIMB Classic 2012: TV schedule, tee times, pairings for Friday

Round 2 of the 2012 CIMB Classic will tee off Thursday night in Malaysia.

The second round of the 2012 CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, tees off Thursday at 7:10 p.m. ET with the pairing of Scott Piercy and Marc Leishman getting things underway. American Troy Matteson leads the way with an 8-under 63 through the first round of the par 71, 6,909-yard course at The MINES Resort and Golf Club.

The Golf Channel will air the event starting at midnight ET on Friday morning due to the time difference. It will run until 4 a.m.

Matteson will be paired with fellow American Brian Harman, and the leaders tee off at 11 p.m. ET on Thursday. Harman is tied at 7-under with the pairing of Jeff Overton and Robert Garrigus. They tee off at 10:50 p.m. ET.

Other players to watch include Tiger Woods, who along with Matteson and Harman had one of the cleaner back nines of Round 1. Woods, who ended the front nine with two bogeys, shot five birdies and four holes at par to finish the first round three shots off the lead.

Woods will be paired with South African Jbe’ Kruger, and the pair tees off at 10:10 p.m. ET Thursday.

Time: Round 2 tees off at 7:10 p.m. ET Thursday

TV: The Golf Channel, Friday midnight–4 a.m. ET
