Justin Timberlake Shriners Open leaderboard: Jonas Blixt, Brendon de Jonge share lead through two rounds

Brendon de Jonge closed the gap to finish tied with Jonas Blixt atop the leaderboard through two days at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Open.

Jonas Blixt and Brendon de Jonge sit atop the leaderboard at 14-under through the first two rounds of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Open.

Three Americans round out the top five, with Ryan Moore sitting one stroke back at 13-under and Tim Herron and Daniel Summerhays tied for fourth at 11-under. After matching a course record with an opening round 61, Moore entered the day with a one-stroke lead but relinquished it after shooting a 3-under 68.

Sweden’s Blixt finished his day up a stroke on de Jonge and Moore, but the Zimbabwean, who started the day at second after scoring a 9-under 62 on Thursday, was able to close the gap by the end of his round.

Vijay Singh sits tied at sixth with John Daly, Nick Watney, Chris Kirk and John Huh at 10-under while 1997 British Open champion Justin Leonard is tied for 11th at 9-under. Other notables include 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III at 7-under and 2008 U.S. Open runner-up Rocco Mediate at 5-under.
