Ryan Moore shot a five-under 66 in the final round to earn a one-stroke victory over Brendon de Jonge at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Open. The win at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas was Moore’s second as a professional and first in 2012.

Ryan Moore was 24-under to win by one shot over Brendon de Jong at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Open.


Moore and de Jonge were neck-and-neck for most of the tournament, and Moore knocked in a birdie on No. 16 to take the lead for good. The two entered Sunday tied for the lead with Jonas Blixt at 19-under. Blixt shot a one-under 70 on Sunday and finished third.
Moore shot the low round of the tournament on Thursday when he streaked to a 10-under 61. De Jonge wasn’t far behind, as he shot a 62 in the first round.
The tournament field was devoid of many popular names in the sport. Two-time major winner Angel Cabrera was 10-under and finished in a tie for 22nd. Stewart Cink, who won the 2009 British Open, tied for 36th at seven-under. John Daly went into the weekend at 10-under, but he shot 86-77 on Saturday and Sunday to finish 71st at 11-over.
