Peter Hanson and Justin Rose beat Keegan Bradley and Dustin Johnson in the reverse scramble in the final day of competition to win the 2012 Tyco Golf Skills Challenge. Hanson and Rose, members of Europe’s Ryder Cup championship team in September, won after Hanson’s playoff-round pitch fell within three feet of the pin to secure the victory and a $285,000 purse for the challenge.

Bradley and Johnson, members of the United States team at the Ryder Cup, earned $223,000 for their second-place finish. Mark Calcavecchia and Mark O'Meara finished third, earning a purse of $158,000, while Zach Johnson and Kyle Stanley split $134,000 for their fourth-place finish.

The Tyco Golf Skills Challenge is an offseason event that features six separate skills competitions, including long drive, mid-iron, bunker shot, chip shot, trouble shot and short-iron.

The reverse scramble competition forces teams to use the worse of the two shots, with the chip-off playoff round taking place after a tie occurred following two rounds.
