2012 World Challenge: TV schedule, tee times, pairings for Thursday

18 of the top players in golf are set to tee off on Thursday in the 2012 World Challenge.

A field of 18 players, including some of the biggest names in golf, are set to tee off Thursday in the first round of the 2012 World Challenge. Held at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and hosted by Tiger Woods, the tournament annually features a relatively small number of top-ranked players and benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation.

The winner of the tournament will receive a purse of $1 million.

The tournament will feature host Tiger Woods and FedExCup champion Brandt Snedeker, along with Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson. Graeme McDowell, who won the tournament in 2010, will also appear this year, along with Jim Furyk, who won in 2009. In total, 13 Ryder Cup players are in the tournament, including Keegan Bradley, Jason Dufner, Dustin Johnson and Zach Johnson.

Television coverage for the Thursday will start at 3 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel and run until 6 p.m. Tee times for Thursday are below:
