The final event of the 2012 PGA Tour season tees off on Thursday, as golfers descend on Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.

The tournament is very important for several players in the field, as one more good finish could heavily impact their 2013 seasons. Any player who finishes in the top 125 on the money list gets full tour privileges next season. Golfers like Jeff Maggert (No. 122), Billy Mayfair (No. 125), and Gary Christian (No. 127) are playing for such privileges.

Also at stake is a spot in the top 70, which gains a player entry to all the invitationals next season. Jonas Blixt, securely set with full 2013 privileges, is playing for a ticket to next year’s Masters. Blixt would need to jump from 35th to 30th on the money list for a spot to play for the green jacket at Augusta.

Blixt tees off at 6:55 a.m. ET as the tournament gets under way early. Several players with major championships are in the field, including Stewart Cink (2009 British Open, 7:25 a.m. tee time), Mike Weir (2003 Masters, 7:35 a.m.), and Ben Curtis (2003 British Open, 11:35 a.m.). A full list of tee times can be found here.

GOLF Network will air coverage of the first round from 1-4 p.m. ET.
