Several members of the top 10 did participate in the World Challenge presented by Northwestern Mutual at Sherwood Country Club, which did create a few minor shakeups in the rankings.

Graeme McDowell took home the World Challenge trophy with a a score of -17, posting a three-stroke victory over Keegan Bradley. The win was McDowell’s first in two years and moved him from No. 24 to No. 14 in the rankings. Tiger Woods finished tied-fourth at -9 and held at No. 3 in the rankings.

Brandt Snedeker and Webb Simpson flip-flopped spots in the rankings, with Snedeker moving from No. 10 to No. 9 and Simpson from No. 9 to No. 10. This happened despite Simpson finishing with a better score at the World Challenge. Jason Dufner held at No. 8, although he had a worse score at the World Challenge than both Snedeker and Simpson.
