VIDEO: Tiger Woods Will Not Talk About Hank Haney’s Book; Have A Good Day

Tiger Woods’s press session at the Honda Classic started off innocently enough. The focus was on golf, for the most part, and the interview session wasn’t incredibly noteworthy. And then a reporter pressed Woods on a particular excerpt from the tell-all book the noted golf enthusiast’s former swing coach, Hank Haney, is releasing.

Things went downhill real fast, and got awkward in a hot second. Watch as Woods deflects questions, gives a death glare, then ends the interview with a creepy smile.

And a quick transcript, which begins after the reporter asks about the excerpt from Haney’s book concerning Woods’s desire to be a Navy SEAL.

Woods: “I’ve already talked about everything [stare] in the book. I’ve already commented on everything, Alex.”

Woods: “Well, I’ve already commented on the book. Is that in the book? Is it in the book? You’re a beauty, you know that?”

Reporter: “I mean, that’s a fair question, right? You guys are suggesting that there’s something wrong with the excerpts of the book. I’m just trying to find out if that’s true or not.”

“I don’t know,” Tiger said before glaring at the person in silence for an awkward few moments. He added, “Have a good day,” with a smile.

You think this is bad? Wait until Steve Williams, Woods’s former caddie, releases his book.
