VIDEO: Bubba Watson And David Letterman Talk Masters
Bubba Watson is 48 hours removed from winning the Masters, but the celebration continued Tuesday night when he visited David Letterman to talk about his big win. Because let’s be honest, the world needs more Bubba. Even if you couldn’t appreciate his ridiculous shot to win on the playoff hole, you had to like him leaving Billy Payne hanging afterward.
So let’s keep the party going. Video of the Letterman interview is after the jump.
How did he get into golf?
“My dad started playing on the weekends with buddies from work. My mom said the only way you can go play with your buddies is if you take your son. My dad said ‘I wanted a baseball player’, wanted me to be a pitcher for the New York Yankees, so I’ve always liked the Yankees. But, 4 years old started baseball, teeball, and then two years later golf came into the picture and my mom made my dad take me, and then, turned out to be a good decision.”
How did he hit a shot like his winner on No. 10?
“Uhh... Luck? Close your eyes and swing hard.”
How would he describe his personal style of play?
“Awesome.”
Awesome.
