PGA Money List 2012: Jason Dufner Moves Up 30 Places After Zurich Classic Win
Jason Dufner, a 35-year old golfer who turned pro out of Auburn in the year 2000, shot up 30 places on the PGA Tour’s 2012 money list with his sudden death victory over Ernie Els in the Zurich Classic on Sunday.
Dufner earned $1.152 million dollars for his efforts, moving from the No. 40 on the money list to No. 10 with a cumulative total of $1.919 million dollars. With the win, the journeyman is now ahead of Tiger Woods, Luke Donald and a host of other more high-profile names.
Els, after finishing second, was the other big winner on Sunday, netting $691,000 and moving from No. 45 to No. 19.
Bubba Watson, the 2012 Masters champion, remains on top the 2012 money list with $3.204 million dollars.
