Masters Leaderboard: Martin Kaymer, Stewart Cink Moving Up

In the early stages of Sunday play at the 2012 Masters, none of the contenders for the Green Jacket are on the course, but the players down the leaderboard will try to play their best golf and move up to earn a few more bucks in winnings.

Among the players who teed off first, German Martin Kaymer and American Stewart Cink have made a few birdies to shuffle up the lower part of the board. Kaymer started the day at +6, but fired two birdies in his first three holes to move to four-over and leapfrog, among others, last year’s Masters champ Charl Schwartzel and put him in a tie with notables such as Rickie Fowler and Angel Cabrera.

Stewart Cink had a dreadful Saturday after making the cut, shooting an appalling 81, but he’s three-under through his first eight holes to move to +8 and pass some other players who just want this tournament to be over, such as Trevor Immelman (+9) and Edoardo Molinari (+11).

You can view the live Masters leaderboard here.
