Tiger Woods is tied for second place following the first round of the 2012 U.S. Open, but he is the betting favorite heading into round two.

Tiger Woods is now a 9/4 favorite heading into the second round of the U.S. Open.


Woods enters round two as the 9/4 favorite, up from the 6/1 odds he was given to prior to the start of the tournament. Justin Rose, who is also tied for second place at 1-under, has the second-best odds heading into Friday’s second round at 8/1.
Matt Kuchar, who shot an even-par 70 in the first round, has the third best odds at 14/1. Graeme McDowell and Jim Furyk are both listed with 16/1 odds following the first round. First round leader Michael Thompson is now a 25/1 favorite.
Phil Mickelson, who was a 20/1 favorite prior to the tournament, is now a 125/1 favorite following his 6-over 76 in the first round. Luke Donald fell from a 12/1 favorite pre-tournament to a 150/1 favorite after he shot a 9-over 79 on Thursday.
