After hitting his approach into the lip of a greenside bunker on the sixth hole, leaving him with an awfully difficult stance, Tiger Woods gripped down on what appeared to be a 9-iron and sent his chip over the hole. After another short chip to within inches, Woods managed to save bogey, and stay tied for the lead at the 2012 U.S. Open.

That wouldn’t last.
On the very next hole, Woods again drove into a greenside bunker on the short par-4 seventh. After a decent sand shot to within 10 feet, Woods proceeded to three-putt for his third bogey in a row.
Tiger now sits at 1-over par for the tournament, a full two shots back from the tournament leaders at 1-under par.
