Tiger Woods is a busy man. Despite a recent back surgery, he did not let that stop him from announcing his latest golf course project.

He is returning to Texas, which started it all for him in American golf course architecture.

The 82-time PGA Tour winner announced his plans to design a new golf community, Bluejack Ranch, in Aledo, Texas.

“Bluejack National’s success has paved the way for this next chapter at Bluejack Ranch... It’s extremely motivating for me to contribute to the golfing legacy of Fort Worth, and I’m excited to see what we’ll build together,” Woods wrote in a public letter on Bluejack Ranch’s website.

The new course will be the focal point of a new private community on a 914-acre working ranch. It is expected to open in 2026.

Woods is again partnering with Andy and Kristin Mitchell, the same developers of Bluejack National, to design an encore course.

The plan includes an 18-hole course, a 10-hole par-3 course with lights and many other amenities offered at Blackjack National, per Golf.com.

His first American golf course was Bluejack National, a 755-acre private golf club and community in Montgomery County near Houston.

Now, Woods and his TGR Design team have multiple tracks worldwide. Some of those credits are Payne’s Valley course at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Missouri; the par-3 Hay course at Pebble Beach; and El Cardonal at Diamante in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Last year, Woods and TGR Design began working with baseball great Mike Trout in southern New Jersey to create Trout National.

Woods does many things away from the golf course, and architecture is just one of them. He also has a new clothing brand, Sun Day Red, and the TGL indoor golf league he co-founded with Rory McIlroy.

The 15-time major winner also sits on the PGA Tour Policy Board as they continue negotiating with Saudi PIF on a potential deal.
