Earlier on Monday, the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum relased the ballots for next year’s class of inductees. While many of the names are repeats from this year’s ballot, new names such as David Duval and Steve Stricker now appear as options for voters.

According to the PGA Tour website, the ballots have been sent to their respective voting bodies, comprised of “Hall of Fame members, golf journalists, historians and dignitaries from around the globe”. Voting will close on July 27 and inductees for 2013 will be announced at the end of this calendar year.

Thanks to the success of this year’s celebration (where Phil Mickelson highlighted the list of 2012 inductees), Hall of Fame Chief Operating Officer Jack Peter is excited that next year’s gala will be even more memorable.

“The 2012 Induction Ceremony took the Hall of Fame to new heights and we are already looking forward to 2013,” said Peter. “We are excited to begin that process by distributing the Class of 2013 ballots. Like golf fans around the world, we are eager to see the decisions of our voting body and welcome the next class of golf luminaries into the Hall of Fame.”

Other names on the ballot from the PGA Tour include (but are not limited to) Fred Couples, Jim Furyk, Davis Love III, Loren Roberts, Ken Venturi, Fuzzy Zoeller, and Dave Stockton. On the international ballot: Darren Clarke, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington, Colin Montgomerie, Ian Woosnam, and Miguel Angel Jimenez.
