2012 AT&T National Leaderboard Update: Vijay Singh Off To Hot Start

As the opening round of the 2012 AT&T National at Congressional Country Club is underway, last week’s winner Marc Leishman is back in contention early on at 2-under after his first eight holes of the day. However, PGA Tour veteran Vijay Singh is your current leader on the course at 3-under after eight.

A flurry of other players are also within two shots of the leader at this time, including United States Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III, tour youngblood Greg Owen, and veterans Hunter Mahan and Stewart Cink, all of whom are currently playing at 1-under par.

Beau Hossler, the amateur player who created quite the stir at this year’s U.S. Open two weeks ago and special invitee to the AT&T National, is holding steady at even-par through five holes.

Tournament host and 2009 champion Tiger Woods has yet to tee off, but will do so at 12:50 p.m. Eastern.
