Things have started to go downhill for Tiger Woods during his third round at the 2012 British Open. Starting the day in third position (6-under par) and four shots behind leader Brandt Snedeker, Woods started his round with a bogey on the par-3 opening hole.
British Open 2012: Tiger Struggling Early In Third Round
After a par on No. 2, Tiger then bogied his third hole of the day to fall to 4-under for the tournament and 2-over on his round . TV analyst Curtis Strange commented that he believes Tiger is “swinging harder today,” which might account for a few wayward shots early. Woods is currently playing his fifth hole of the day and hopes to right this ship before he falls too far behind Snedeker.
Meanwhile, Snedeker continues his solid play and has made nothing but pars early in his round. Playing with Adam Scott, Snedeker has not made a bogey as of yet at Royal Lytham.
