RBC Canadian Open Leaderboard: William McGirt, Scott Piercy Tied For Lead, Tim Clark Charging

William McGirt and Scott Piercy are tied atop the leaderboard at the 2012 RBC Canadian Open after shooting 4-under and 3-under, respectively, to reach 11-under overall Friday. Piercy entered the day in sole possession of first place after shooting two eagles Thursday. On Friday, a bogey on No. 9 kept him from keeping the lead for himself.

McGirt shot 4-under on the back nine, at one point making three straight birdies. Robert Garrigus also shot 4-under to move to 10-under overall and just one shot off the leaders. Vijay Singh and Tim Clark are tied in fourth place at 8-under overall.

Clark has already shot the lowest round of the day so far at 8-under through 16 holes. He has jumped 62 spots on the leaderboard, and has a chance to inch even closer to the leaders with three holes still to play.
