Robert Garrigus inched closer to what could be his second career PGA Tour win on Saturday, shooting an impressive 6-under 64 in the third round of the RBC Canadian Open. Garrigus entered the day in second place, one shot behind Scott Piercy and William McGirt, but outplayed them on Saturday. Garrigus now has the lead by himself at 16-under par.

McGirt, who started the day at 11-under, shot a 66 on Saturday and sits at 15-under par, one stroke behind Garrigus. Piercy shot a 67 and is 14-under for the tournament. They’re being chased by a contingent of three players who sit at 12-under par through three rounds: Scott Stallings, Chris Kirk and Bo Van Pelt.
A few big names made it to the weekend at Hamilton Golf and Country Club, but they haven’t remained in contention. Vijay Singh and Retief Goosen are both 9-under par. Charl Schwartzel is 2-under, while Hunter Mahan is 1-over.
