    Greenbrier Classic 2012: Charlie Wi Clubhouse Leader At 14-Under, Troy Kelly Still On Course

    As the 2012 Greenbrier Classic is coming to a close, Charlie Wi is the current clubhouse leader at 14-under after firing a 5-under 65 in his final round. However, Troy Kelly is still leading the tournament outright at 16-under and currently playing No. 16 on his final nine holes.

    Wi, a former winner on the PGA Tour, had previously finished runner-up to Phil Mickelson at February’s AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, but has played rather average golf leading up to this week. Should his score of 266 hold up to win Sunday, it will be his eighth win as a professional.

    Greenbrier Classic 2012: John Daly, Kevin Na Make Early Moves Up Leaderboard

    The leaders at the 2012 Greenbrier Classic have yet to tee off Sunday, but there has been some movement near the top of the leaderboard from those with early tee times. John Daly climbed as high as No. 7 overall after shooting 4-under on the front nine. A double-bogey on No. 10 halted his big day, but he still sits in a tie for 28th overall at 7-under.

    Kevin Na, meanwhile, has already jumped 18 spots on the leaderboard with a 3-under start through seven holes. He birdied Par 4’s on hole Nos. 1, 2 and 4 and now sits in a seven-way tie for eighth place at 9-under.

    Greenbrier Classic 2012: Troy Kelly Clubhouse Leader, Webb Simpson In Pursuit

    Troy Kelly, ranked No. 225 on the PGA Tour Money List this year, is your current clubhouse leader of the Greenbrier Classic, but the U.S. Open champion and others remain in contention.

    Through 54 holes, Kelly is 12-under after shooting an 8-under 62 Saturday afternoon, which included eight birdies and zero bogies.

    Greenbrier Classic 2012: Jonathan Byrd, Charlie Beljan Tied For Lead

    As the second round of the 2012 Greenbrier Classic has now entered the afternoon groupings, Jonathan Byrd and Charlie Beljan are sitting comfortably in the lead at 8-under after completing their morning rounds.

    Byrd began his second round with a birdie on the par-4 opening hole and another on no. 7 to put pressure on first-round leader Vijay Singh. Byrd would then fall back slightly after three bogies in his next four holes, but bounced back with another birdie on No. 12. He would record two additional birdies on holes 15 and 18 en route to a 2-under 68 in his second round.
