Greenbrier Classic 2012: Troy Kelly Pulls Ahead of The Field

In what seems to be more of a back-and-forth tennis match than a golf tournament, Troy Kelly has taken sole possession of the lead over Webb Simpson and Ken Duke in the final round of the 2012 Greenbrier Classic.

Simpson, the defending U.S. Open champion, entered Sunday as the 54-hole leader and is paired with Kelly this afternoon. Over his past two holes Simpson has gone bogey-bogey to fall to 13-under and is now in a tie for third place. Kelly, now at 15-under for the tournament, has four birdies on his round so far coupled with a lone bogey on No. 9 at Greenbrier.

Ken Duke, meanwhile, eagled the par-5 No. 12 hole to pull within one shot of the lead. All players are on their final nine holes of their round as the tournament is nearing its conclusion.
