World Golf Rankings 2012: Rory McIlroy Remains No. 1

Rory McIlroy is No. 1 in the World Golf Rankings, which is where he has stood since winning the PGA Championship. McIlroy has been surging since that big win, as he’s also won the Deutsche Bank Championship and the BMW Championship. Those victories, which came in back-to-back weeks, helped to solidify his position atop the rankings.

Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and Adam Scott round out the top five, which is unchanged from last week. Jason Dufner and Bubba Watson each moved up a spot, while Webb Simpson dropped two. Louis Oosthuizen fell from 10th to 11th.
