Tour Championship Results: Brandt Snedeker Wins Tournament And FedEx Cup

Brandt Snedeker took home the 2012 TOUR Championship and the FedEx Cup with a score of 11-under par and winning by four strokes.

Snedeker entered the day in a good position to take the lead after shooting a 64 on Saturday. He was tied briefly on Sunday with Ryan Moore, but after a birdie on hole nine, Snedeker would take the lead and not let it go.

He finished the round three-under and clinched the tournament with a chip-in on hole No. 17.

This is the fourth career PGA Tour title for Snedeker and the first time he has captured the FedEx Cup. He will take home a bonus of $10 million for winning the season-long chase.

Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods both had chances at capturing the FedEx Cup Sunday but neither could get enough points to overtake Snedeker. Woods finished tied for eighth at two-under while McIlroy finished tied for 10th at one-under par.
