2012 Ryder Cup live scores: Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson down 2 through 12

A back-and-forth battle is brewing in the Saturday morning foursomes between the Team USA squad of Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson, and their European counterparts, Justin Rose and Ian Poulter

Day 2 of the 2012 Ryder Cup is underway from Medinah Country Club in suburban Chicago with the Saturday morning foursomes already underway. The American team of Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson are currently going heads up with their European counterparts of Justin Rose and Ian Poulter, and through 12 holes, Rose and Poulter are 2-up on Watson and Simpson.

The European contingent took an early lead after making birdie on the par 4, first hole. Both teams bogeyed on the par 3 second hole, but Team USA even things up on the third and fourth holes.

Team USA then went 1-up on the fifth hole and held that advantage until the eighth hole when Team Europe evened things up with a birdie on the par-4 ninth. Europe then retook the lead on the 10th hole and maintained their advantage through the 11th. They then went 2-up on the 12th hole, making par following an American squad bogey.
