Hey kids! The PGA season is now two weeks old and growing before our eyes. It’s sad, really. Time just flies when you’re having fun watching PGA Tour rookies win tournaments in paradise. Or when you’ve drank seven beers watching the NFL Playoffs as you wait for golf to come on television. Not that I would do that.

Here’s this week’s Bunker Rake!

Stop Me if You've Heard This One - The hills are alive with the sound of bromance, ladies and gentlemen! Nike Golf has officially announced the signing of Rory McIlroy as their "newest" staff player even though everyone knew about it in December. They've also released the first "Tiger vs. Rory" cutesy commercial for your eyes to gobble up.

Whatever.

Nike is really trying their hardest to make this another “Jordan vs. Bird” marketing feud, but we won’t buy into it, imaginary Mr. Nike Commercial Maker! You can’t control us!

Russell Henley Wins in Hawaii - Golf can be a surprising game. Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, some kid named Russell has to go out and ruin your fantasy golf pool for the week. But I’m not bitter; no, I welcome parity to this great game. I’m sure at least 3 people were certain Russell Henley would win the Sony Open. That number may or may not include Russell, but it doesn’t matter. Let’s not split hairs.

Or make putts, apparently. *cough* Scott Langely *cough*
