Jamie Donaldson fought back to win the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, earning a slim one-stroke win after recording a 4-under in his last round of the tournament.
Jamie Donaldson wins the 2013 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship
Jamie Donaldson earned his second career European Tour win, taking the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship by just one stroke.

It’s arguably the biggest win of Donaldson’s career and is only the second career win the 37-year-old Weslhman has registered on the European Tour, to go alongside three career wins on the Challenge Tour. Donaldson had shot a 5-under on the day to give himself a two-stroke lead, but nearly cost himself a chance at a win on the 18th hole, three-putting for a bogey. That gave Justin Rose and Thorbjorn Olesen a chance to tie him if they birdied the last hole, but both recorded pars, giving Donaldson the win.
Rose had started the day at 12-under, with Olesen at 10-under. Ricardo Santos and Branden Grace had strong days to put themselves in the top five on the leaderboard, shooting 4-under and 7-under respectively to finish fourth and fifth.
