2013 Honda Classic scores: Luke Guthrie leads after second round

Luke Guthrie leads the field at nine under par after the second round of the 2013 Honda Classic.

After the second round of the 2013 Honda Classic, Luke Guthrie leads the field at 9-under-par, shooting a Friday best 63. Michael Thompson is in second place at 8-under and Boo Weekley is tied with Graham DeLaet for third place at seven under par.

There are still two rounds left in the tournament being played at the PGA National’s Championship Coarse in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., so there is still plenty of time for players to make a move. After Friday’s round, Tiger Woods is even after shooting a 70 in each of the first two rounds. Lee Westwood and Sean O’Hair are both 6-under while Keegan Bradley is 2-under.

The winner of the Honda Classic will receive $1.026 million of a $6 million total purse and 500 FedEx Cup points. On Saturday, the fist player to tee off will be Matteo Manassero at 8 a.m. ET. Some other notable tee times are Tiger Woods and David Lynn at 8:15 a.m., Brian Gay and Ernie Els at 10:12 a.m., Chris Kirk and Keegan Bradley at 12:10 p.m. and Luke Guthrie and Michael Thompson at 1:40 p.m.

All the action can be caught on the Golf Channel from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
