PGA Money List 2013: Tiger Woods jumps to No. 2

Tiger Woods earned his biggest payday of 2013 with a win at Doral. Here’s a look at the current money leaders after the Cadillac Championship.

Tigers Woods shot a 1-under 71 while cruising to victory at the Cadillac Championship in Doral, Fla. His win in the World Golf Championship event earned him $1.5 million, moving him into second place among the money leaders for 2013.

Overall Woods finished at 19-under for the tournament. He shot 27 birdies throughout four rounds, and moved into No. 2 in the FedEx Cup standings. This was Woods’ 76th win on the PGA Tour.

Woods also won the Farmers Insurance Open back in January, which paid him $1.098 million. He now sits at $2,671,000 after four events this year. Brandt Snedeker still holds a slim lead in earnings with $2,858,920.

Steve Striker finished two strokes behinds Woods in Doral, shooting 17-under over the weekend. He jumped from No. 14 to No. 4 in overall earnings with a payday worth $880,000 for his second-place finish.

Matt Kuchar fell one spot to No. 3, while Phil Mickelson rounds out the top five on the money leaderboard.
