2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational leaderboard: Tiger Woods grabs lead

Tiger Woods climbed to the top spot on the leaderboard at the 2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational on Saturday with a round that featured five birdies and an eagle on Hole 16 to finish the day with a score of 66.

On Friday, Woods threatened for the lead, but finished with consecutive bogeys on the final three holes and dropped to a tie for seventh. He had no late collapse on Saturday, though, and finished with just one bogey on Hole 13.

Woods entered the tournament as No. 2 on the Official World Golf rankings behind Rory McIlroy, but would move up to the top spot if he can earn a victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He has a history of success in the tournament as well, winning seven times. That includes 2012, when he finished with a score of 275, five strokes better than runner-up Graeme McDowell.

Justin Rose of England is in second, one stroke behind Woods, after starting the day as the tournament leader. Two strokes behind Woods is Rickie Fowler, who finished each of the last two rounds five under par.
