2013 PGA Tour Money List: Michael Thompson jumps to No. 11

Michael Thompson earned a huge payday for his win at The Honda Classic. Here’s a look at the current money leaders for the 2013 PGA Tour.

Michael Thompson was No. 196 on the PGA Tour money leaderboard heading into the final day of play at The Honda Classic. After shooting a one-under-par 69 to capture his first title, Thompson shot up the rankings with his huge payday.

With his win at the PGA National Champion Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Thompson took home a check for $1,080,000, which is now comprises almost his entire winnings for 2013. Thompson moved to No. 11 overall in the money rankings with his win.

Russell Henley moved up three spots to No. 5 after tying for 13th with a one-under-par overall, winning $109,200 in Florida. Tiger Woods managed to drop a spot, now sitting at No. 8 in the money rankings.
