Andres Romero moved into the lead at the 2013 Puerto Rico Open on Friday, and he has several new names sprinkled across the top 10 on the leaderboard alongside him after the second round.

The 2013 Puerto Rico open is through two rounds, and some familiar and unfamiliar names are atop the leaderboard.


Romero’s only PGA Tour win came in 2008, but he shot a 7-under-par 65 on Thursday and is 14-under par for the tournament. Scott Brown, who at 13-under par for the tournament after shooting 9-under holds second. Brown’s best finish on the PGA Tour came at last year’s Puerto Rico Open, where he finished in fifth place.
Meanwhile, Georgia McNeill, who is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour and the 2012 Puerto Rico Open champion, is one of nine golfers at 9-under par through two rounds.
