With six birdies on the front nine, Fabian Gomez of Argentina finished with a score of 65 on Saturday, seven under the par of 72 for the course, to earn a share of the lead with Scott Brown in the Puerto Rico Open at the Trump International Golf Club.

Gomez hit six birdies on the first nine holes to climb to the top of the leaderboard.


Gomez entered the day three strokes behind fellow Argentinian Andres Romero for the tournament lead; however, Romero struggled on Saturday with a triple-bogey on hole 12 and three bogeys on the final three holes. Romero finished with a score of 75 for the day and dropped from first to a tie for 15th, seven strokes off the lead.
Tied with Gomez at the top of the leaderboard is Brown of Augusta, Ga., after he finished five strokes under par on Saturday. Brown entered the day in second behind Romero for the lead.
The top score of the day was shot by Matt Jones of Australia, who knocked in eight birdies and 10 pars to finish with a 64 for the day and climb to eighth after beginning the day on the outside of the top 50.
Round 4 of the 2013 Puerto Rico Open is scheduled to begin at 6:10 a.m. ET, with the leaders, Gomez and Brown, scheduled to tee off at 11:38 a.m. ET. The full list of tee times for Sunday can be found on PGATour.com.
