Tiger Woods entered the third round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship on Saturday with a two-stroke lead over Graeme McDowell and has extended that lead to four strokes through 16 holes, as the pair of golfers are heading in opposite directions.

Woods began his round on Saturday by knocking in three consecutive birdies on the first three holes. Although he finished with a bogey on the fifth hole, he continued his consistent performance at the Trump Doral Golf Club and Resort in Miami, Fla., with three more birdies.

McDowell appeared as though he was prepped to challenge Woods for the lead after he started with an eagle on the first hole and a birdie on the third. However, he lost plenty of ground in the back half with a bogey on hole 11 and a double bogey on the par-four 14th. An eagle on hole 16 saved some face for McDowell and kept him in second place on the leaderboard.

Through the first 52 holes of the 72-hole tournament, Woods is 18 strokes under par and has just five bogeys.
